Dissed and Dismissed

Ian I couldn’t help but noticed that collegefootballnews.com; which is part of the scout.com network, has come out with their preseason rankings. As good as Boise State’s football team has done since joining the WAC and the Big West for that matter they have put out solid team, after solid team. Not a typical 7-5 team that goes to a bowl game. We are talking a consistently 10 win team or more almost every year.

So why would College Football News rank them at number 53 overall? I’ve been asking myself that same thing ever since I looked at their preseason rankings. Here are 3 teams that they have ranked right above BSU:  a 5-7 Miami team, who a couple of years who had a hard time beating Nevada in a bowl game;  then there is Northwestern who was 6-6 last year;  then a real slap in the face with North Carolina  being ranked higher, who was 4-8 last year. The only teams that North Carolina beat last year were:  James Madison a D-II school, they beat a pitiful Miami team by 6, they then beat Maryland by 3 points, and they beat Duke by 6 points in overtime.
To me you can’t get any more disrespectful than that. I hope that the Boise State players and coaches get a wind of this. If they are looking for a little motivation look no further than this, but the disrespect doesn't end here.

CBSsportsline.com has come out with their WAC preview and has picked BSU to finish 3rd behind Fresno and Nevada. Let me remind everyone that BSU has never finished 3rd in the WAC. The writer of this Article is straight up ignorant or must be another Boise State hater.
